Installed Apps (QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES)

The launcher needs to discover installed applications so it can:

Display all installed apps
Create shortcuts

Launch apps

We do not collect or sell your installed app list.

Package Management (REQUEST_DELETE_PACKAGES)

This permission allows the launcher to help you uninstall applications directly from the launcher interface.

No package information is transmitted to our servers.

Contacts (READ_CONTACTS)

If you choose to use contact shortcuts or contact-related widgets, the app may access your contacts.

Your contacts:

remain on your device
are never uploaded to our servers
are only used for the requested feature

Calendar (READ_CALENDAR)

If you enable calendar widgets or calendar integration, the app reads calendar events to display upcoming events.

Calendar information is processed locally on your device.

Photos, Videos and Audio

Permissions:

READ_MEDIA_IMAGES
READ_MEDIA_VIDEO
READ_MEDIA_AUDIO
READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android 12 and below)
WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android 10 and below)

These permissions allow the app to:

set wallpapers
select custom wallpapers
browse media files
customize the launcher appearance

Your personal media files are never uploaded to us.

Camera

The Camera permission is only used if you choose features that require camera access, such as scanning QR codes or taking photos for wallpapers (if available).

The camera is never activated without your action.

Usage Access (PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS)

Usage Access allows Computer Launcher to:

identify recently used apps
display recent applications
improve launcher features that depend on app usage

This information remains on your device.

We do not collect or transmit your app usage history.

Notification Access

Permissions:

POST_NOTIFICATIONS
ACCESS_NOTIFICATION_POLICY

These permissions allow the launcher to:

show notifications
manage Do Not Disturb related features (where supported)
display notification badges

Notification contents are not stored on our servers.

Wallpaper Permission

SET_WALLPAPER is used only when you choose to change your device wallpaper from within the app.

Boot Completed

RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED allows the launcher to start automatically after device restart so it can function as your default launcher.

Alarm Permission

USE_EXACT_ALARM is used for scheduled reminders, clocks, or launcher-related scheduled tasks (if available).

Foreground Services

The app may use foreground services for features requiring continuous operation, such as media controls or launcher services.

Vibration

Used to provide haptic feedback.

Network Permissions
